Poor Hermes... Haha..... We're dog sitting two ADORABLE dogs for Christmas week and he's not as free as I'd like him to be. But don't worry; he was out on Christmas, downstairs. He was happily spinning and pooping on our Lazy Susan.

Maddie and Vivi say HOWDY!!!

My cousin's Maddie and Viviana say hello. They loooove to pet Hermes, even though we can't take him out because their golden retreiver Molder is out-and-about. Anyway, Hermes, Maddie, Vivi and I say hi. We saw some turkeys from the yard of my grandparents house, and Hermes was excited when we told him. And when he smelled the turkey leftovers he frowned. <3

Okay.... I haven't updated this in like forever, but I just found out SOMEONE is reading it. So I suppose I'll continue.

Hermes has been to my grandparents house before once, but not for awhile now. Tomorrow Cisco, My dad, and Hermes and I are going for an after-thanksgiving, and he's going to meet my cousins Madelyn and Viviana... And their giant golden retriever. Uh oh.

What the Clip?!

                  Okay, y'all. Does everyone here know what it means to clip a bird? It's not torture, or anything that would be HALF as horrible as it sounds. It means lightly trimming the edge of the bird's feathers on a wing, so that they can only fly super-short distances before they fall. Which might even save their life, because if a baby bird (Hermes) flew away, he could get attacked by bigger birds or cats. They don't even feel it. Also, they grow back! It's NOT permanent. I was discussing with my... advisor (My dad) whether or not we should clip him. And we decided on not clipping him yet, because since he's only a baby it would affect the way he learned to fly. So to the left side of the site, I have a poll. Check in when you think he would be 'adult' enough to get clipped. Thx!
